Learjet 60 and 60 XR Tire Pressure Checks

The FAA issued an Airworthiness Directive (AD) on July 13, 2010, regarding the Learjet 60/60XR. This is one element of a strategic effort to promote safety across the entire aviation industry with respect to proper tire inflation. The AD requires incorporation of a Temporary Flight Manual supplement which requires tire pressure to be checked within 96 hours prior to flight.

Free training packages are available to all Learjet 60/60XR operators and training organizations. It is important that all pilots flying these aircraft are aware of and understand the changes to the Airplane Flight Manuals. Airworthiness Directives mandate training on this topic.
